JAMES LONGSHORE is an accomplished American Actor-Writer-Director-Producer. James Longshore began his acting career at age 6, performing in Shakespeare, Off-Broadway, and on MTV, Nickelodeon and PBS. He studied acting at CAPA H.S., American Academy for Dramatic Arts, and afterwards many other independent and continuing programs. James Longshore holds a degree in Film Directing from Los Angeles Film School. His 6 years training in creative and screen writing come from New School University in NYC, LA Film School, and West Hollywood Adult School. After graduating LA Film School in 2004, James owned and operated MadMan At Large Productions, a company which produced short films, music videos, and internet content with budgets ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 dollars. These projects have appeared in many, many film festivals all over the US and the world. Films and series James wrote and directed include “The Origin, or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The J.O.I.N.T.”, a festival hit distributed in comic book and video stores, and “WFCT: The Thinking Man’s Show For The Idiot”, a digital series which was the #1 seller at onwebproductions.com in 2006-2007. James has also served as Artistic Director of Tre Stage Theatre in Los Angeles, and directed and produced many theatre shows, some from work he has written and concepts he developed. Now living in Bucharest, Romania, James Longshore has seen success in Europe as well. James Longshore teaches a program for international actors in Bucharest called “Acting In English”. He works as a dialogue coach for actors from all over the world on films like Universal’s “Werewolf: The Beast Among Us” and the 2013 Sharon Stone-Andy Garcia film “What About Love”. As an actor, James has appeared in Berlinale Award-Winning Italian film “Diaz: Don’t Clean Up This Blood” and made his debut acting in the Romanian language on ProTv’s new hit “Tanti Florica”. He will soon be seen with Monica Birladeanu in “Limani” and is prepping his feature film directorial debut, “Sapphire” from a screenplay he wrote.
